Dr Jayson developed an interest in small animal surgery following graduation from Murdoch University in 2008. He worked in a busy small animal practice in Perth for several years and obtained membership by examination in the small animal surgery chapter of the Australian & New Zealand college. He subsequently joined a specialist orthopaedic & neurosurgery hospital, Fitzpatrick Referrals in United Kingdom.
Following his completion of his surgery specialist training, he joined the Royal Veterinary College and worked in both soft tissue & orthopaedic service of the Queen Mother Hospital. During his time there, he passed & obtained his specialist surgery qualification (Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons). He then decided to return home to Singapore and join the multi-disciplinary veterinary specialist team in VES.
