Dr Paola graduated with honours from the Universidad Michoacana in Mexico in 2007 and subsequently completed the ECFVG certification through the American Veterinary Medical Association.  

She has extensive experience in emergency and critical care. She is passionate about providing compassionate care, with a strong focus on her patients’ comfort and quality of life. She works closely with owners to help them understand their pet’s condition, treatment options, and prognosis, supporting them in making informed decisions throughout their pet’s care. 

Before transitioning to small-animal emergency and critical care, Dr Paola spent over fourteen years working with aquatic animals. This unique background has given her a broad perspective on veterinary medicine and a strong interest in complex and challenging cases. 

Outside of work, Dr Paola enjoys exercising, spending time in nature, and being with family.
