Dr Virginie De Busscher graduated from the Veterinary School of the University of Liege, Belgium in 2002. After completing an internship and one year of radiology at the Maison-Alfort Veterinary School in France, Dr Virginie returned to Liege to complete a residency programme of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. She then worked at the Atlantic Veterinary School in Prince Edward Island, Canada and in several referral centres in the UK before joining the team at VES hospital.

Dr Virginie is a European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. She is a Diplomate of that College and a member of its selection committee.

Dr Virginie’s main areas of interest include: abdominal and musculoskeletal ultrasonography, ultrasound guided aspirations and biopsies and CT scan studies. She is happy to receive referrals in US, X-rays and CT scans and she offers a diagnostic imaging reporting service in all diagnostic imaging modalities as well.
