Dr Sebastien Monier graduated from the National Veterinary School of Toulouse (France) in 2004. He completed a Small Animal internship at the University of Montreal, Canada in 2005 and a specialized Internal Medicine and Cardiology internship in a private referral hospital in Montreal, in 2007. He stayed practicing within the same hospital as a critical care vet for another year then decided to move to London, United Kingdom. There he practiced as a medical and critical care vet in a busy 24h emergency and referral hospital.
Dr Sebastien relocated to Singapore in 2014 and obtained his memberships in Emergency and Critical Care and in Small Animal Medicine by examination with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
His expertise and special interests include Internal and Critical Care medicine and in particular: renal diseases (chronic and acute kidney injury), hepatic and pancreatic conditions, sepsis, cardiac patients, advanced monitoring, anesthesia and analgesia.
Dr Sebastien is looking forward to providing the best care to our most critical and challenging patients, working alongside the different departments at VES Hospital. He strongly believes in the multidisciplinary approach and 24/7 comprehensive care VES Hospital provides.
Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, scuba diving, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He has two cats, Muga that he rescued in London and Dao, adopted here in Singapore.
