Dr Laurent Fillon graduated from National Veterinary School of Toulouse (France) in 2007. After working few years in France, he moved with his Partner to Cambodia where he worked for 5 years in the only referral center in the country. Then he moved wih his family to Singapore in 2011, working in a busy 24-hours veterinary centre.
He developed a strong interest in Veterinary Ophthalmology whilst working in Singapore and gained valuable knowledge and skills in veterinary ophthalmology by spending time with various veterinary ophthalmologists in Europe.
In 2014, after 2 years training in the European Union, he attained the Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology awarded by the University of Toulouse.
Dr Laurent is now based full-time in Singapore with VES Hospital and his interest includes corneal reconstruction surgery, glaucoma treatment, and cataract surgery.
He is now the proud father of a little girl Ateaïna and still enjoying the company of his 2 Cambodian rescue cats Samnang and Chamroeun.
